Noir is the second studio album by the South Korean male group B.A.P. It was released on November 7, 2016 under the label of TS Entertainment. It features the single "Skydive" B.A.P. is geeting back to their more dark themed concept for this MV (like the one shot MV) and I must say it's their best one yet. I was totally blown away when I first saw the video BUT I was even more amazed how good the NOIR album actually is. I think it's their BEST album so far and for the first time ever I liked every single song on this album. MY THEORY/EXPLANATION OF THE SKYDIVE MV: They are a gang (hit men, contract killers - similar to T-ARA MV) and Himchan is their boss. Jongup wanted his position and money so he made a deal with the police and betrayed the rest of them using Daehyun's girlfriend; forcing him to do his dirty work for him. He kidnapped his girlfriend in order to force Daehyun to eliminate certain people. Since he failed to kill Himchan, he killed his girlfriend. Afterwards they all die in a shoot off with a police, Jongup lives and in the last seen Daehyun realizes that it was Jongup who set him up. Jongup now has all the money for himself. Let's go trough some of the scenes: With the money from the robbery they are playing poker. (which I will later describe why is that imortant and how's the last scene connected to this one.) INTRO SONG: PRAY
He susspects it's Younguk because the papers have the same smell of the liquid for the invisible ink. He follows him but Himchan was able to disarm him and Daehyun failed the mission. Afterwerds he got the text message with the address . While he was going to the place sent to him in a message the rest of them were on their assigment (papers from informant; new robbery) The girl is dead, he gets another text message "game over". He now knows that it's not Himchan since he got the first message while he was with him and he decides to go on and join them for the mission... ..only to see that it's a set up. Police was already there having the other members on the gunpoint. If you look closely you can notice that weird look on Jongup's face; it's because Daehyun wasn't suppose to be here. After the shootout almost everyone is dead or wounded. Jongup get's up and is clearly fine - Daehyun then understands it was him all along. The psyho. He is sad more then angry and he was unable to shoot him, Jongup turns the gun towards Daehyun and he kills himself. We can now see that it was him who left the envelope in the club, gave him the envelope in the allyway and left him a photo while he was sleeping drunk. He reveals the bulletproof vest underneath his shirt which also means that he set them up and had some sort of the deal with the police or he informed police anonymously and came prepared with the vest. Which brings us back to the last/first poker scene. It's revealed that the Himchan had the winning hand (house) and won all the money. It's added that Jongup actually had full house and won but it's only figurative/metaphorical that after all he won the game. "In the end winner takes all" I'm guessing it was all becuase of that poker game. Jongup was greedy for money and power so he used Daehyun, which he thought cared enough for his girlfriend, that he would be willing to kill the gang leader - Himchan. With him gone he would be able to become the leader. After Daehyun failed he decided to just killed them all and keep all the money for himself. I hope this helps and I must say once again that I really love this video. I think both the song and video deserves more love and more views because it's just amazing. Be sure to check out their whole noir album and buy it if you like it. Here is the MV: and album: You can buy it here! $ 14.26 - worth every penny! directors cut;uncensored |
